Senior DevOps engineer with Azure experience
Grid Dynamics, a leading provider of cutting-edge technological solutions for businesses across various industries, is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our world-class services. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building the Dev/Ops and migrating applications to microservices that will reside on a Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Essential functions
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Lead the migration of monolithic applications to microservices architecture on Microsoft Azure.
Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of applications in the Azure cloud environment.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment and monitoring processes.
Implement DevOps best practices including source control, branching strategies, and release management.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
Document architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for pipeline creation and project management.
Proficiency in GitHub, including workflows, actions, and repository management.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and Microsoft Azure services (App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, etc.).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, preferably AKS).
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices patterns, and deployment strategies.
