Android Developer
We are looking for a skilled Android Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin for Android. You'll be responsible for migrating core functionalities, collaborating with backend engineers, and working closely with PM and UX designers to ensure the application is stable, secure, and meets customer needs. You will adhere to industry best practices and coding standards, and contribute to the overall success of exciting and challenging mobile projects.
This is a hybrid role based in Kraków (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Essential functions
Develop and maintain the mobile application for Android and iOS platforms
Migrate the functionality of the application related to support workflow from 3rd party library to client’s solution
Collaboration with backend engineers would be required
Framework embeds into the application but requires several integrations with the rest of the app (context, configs, etc)
Work closely with the existing team to ensure the application is stable, secure, and meets the needs of customers
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
Continuously improve the quality of the codebase and the development process
Routinely collect feedback from internal customers to improve services
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in mobile development
Strong knowledge of Kotlin for Android development
Experience in MVVM architectural pattern
Experience in using Android frameworks such as HILT, Dagger, Jetpack Compose
Experience integrating with third-party SDKs
Experience in collaboration with PM and UX designer
Experience with mobile app automation testing would be an asset
